Eco-Healthy Childcare

Enrollment Process

  • Accepting Tour Applications.
  • Visit our website. You will find information about our program, our philosophy, eco-healthy endorsement, and our staff.
  • Complete a Tour Application.  Apply online or mail application to Green Sprouts, 5 Industrial Drive, Suite A, Windham, NH 03087
  • Submitted Tour Applications will be called to schedule a tour.  You will tour the classrooms and the yards, meet the staff and learn about our philosophy and curriculum. At the end of the tour you will schedule an appointment for your child to visit his/her prospective classroom and meet the teachers.
  • Schedule your child’s classroom visit. You will have the opportunity to observe your child in the classroom environment. We will have the opportunity to get to know your family a little better. After your visit, the Director and classroom teachers will meet to determine the fittingness of our program for your child.
  • Enrollment that cannot be honored immediately will be placed on the wait list. Whenever an opening becomes available, the waiting list is sorted for children of the age the opening is for and the desired starting date. When we have an opening that fits your family’s needs, we will call you. If you are still interested in enrolling your child, we will begin the enrollment process. If you decline the enrollment opportunity, you will be taken off the wait list. The wait for enrollment can be long, particularly for infants. Therefore, we recommend that families move forward with other arrangements while they wait for an opening to become available. Subsequently, it is the responsibility of the applicant to assure that all application information is kept current.
  • Complete the Registration Packet. Once your child has been accepted at Green Sprouts we’ll begin the enrollment process.  You’ll complete an Enrollment Agreement, pay a $100.00 non-refundable Registration Fee and secure your child’s space with a 2-week deposit.  An enrollment packet with additional registration forms will be sent home for you to complete.  All enrollment forms are due back 48 hours prior to your child’s start date.

Less is more

Less talking more observing
Less clutter more minimalistic
Less intervening more focus
Less teacher initiated, more child initiated
Less praise, more encouragement
Less interruption, more concentration
It has been my observation over the years that children who have too many things have a harder time playing peacefully and learning to share than children who have less.
